TBM aims at raising awareness among new generations
against addictions in order to contribute to our children
and adolescents to have safer and healthier lives. It is a
universal training program that will minimize individuals’ risk
of becoming addict. With this program, it is aimed at raising
public awareness against various addictions particularly
among children and adolescents, and preventing the usage
of those substances with presenting knowledge and
awareness.
For the first time in Turkey, a program addressing to such
a major audience in fighting against addiction is formed.
This programwas developed to be implemented in all
across Turkey in accordance with the country’s sociological
structure, needs, and current educational systemwith the
support of experts. All the contents used in the training
programwere modularly and scientifically prepared, based
on proofs, and addressed to all age groups with a scientific
approach by a professional expert team including the
Green Crescent Science Board. By utilizing new education
devices, the TBM aims at reaching particularly children and
adolescents on the matter of addiction. Within this scope, it
was designed to provide communication between the TBM
and audience both face to face and through distant training
tools by developing books and interactive contents.
