here are now beautiful and joyful
days ahead for M.T. and his family,
thanks to his application to the Green
Crescent Training and Counseling
Center, which was his first step in
ridding himself of the effects of
alcohol after being introduced to it
when he was very young. Like many
addicts, M.T., 58, did not see alcohol
as a problem in his life. However, it
was M.T.’s self-sacrificing wife and
children who were uncomfortable
with his use of alcohol, and the first
step in saving M.T. from alcohol came
from them. M.T. drank alcohol from
his teenage years into adulthood
until the age of 58, but managed
to change his life and rid his life of
alcohol with the help of the Green
Crescent Training and Counseling
Center.
Support leading the way to
salvation
M.T.’s family, who loved him very
much, but experienced all the
difficulties of living with an addict,
went on a journey of salvation
that began with his application to
the Green Crescent Training and
Counseling Center. For four months,
the psychologists of the Green
Crescent Training and Counseling
Center held interviews with M.T.’s
wife and three children. Realizing
the behavioral changes in his family,
M.T. wondered where and from who
his family were receiving help, which
led him to visit the Green Crescent
Training and Counseling Center
to see what was going on. M.T. was
highly impressed by the love and care
given to him by his family and the
psychologists of the Green Crescent
Training and Counseling Center. In
his first interview, M.T. stated that
he was not in need of treatment
and did not want to be hospitalized.
He goes on to talk about the next
phases of the process: “I learned
that it was possible to receive only
counseling without having to start
treatment. This was a turning point
for me. At least they won’t try to cure
me by force, I thought, so I started
to undergo counseling. One day,
without informing my family, I took
an appointment from the Green
Crescent Training and Counseling
Center to begin treatment. I wanted
to change my life and my situation.
I had a family who was fighting for
me, along with the psychologists
of the Green Crescent Training and
Counseling Center. ”
Treatment that changed his
perspective of life
The psychologists of the Green
Crescent Training and Counseling
Center answered his questions about
alcohol addiction and treatment, and
after seeing his family continuing
their interviews without giving up,
M.T. had an awakening that led to him
admitting that he had a problemwith
alcohol. M.T. started the treatment
process in the Green Crescent
Training and Counseling Center,
which provides free psycho-social
services toaddicts and their relatives,
and is still receiving treatment, but
can now see life through a clearer
and happier window.
