is getting stronger and stronger every
day. On behalf of Green Crescent, I would
like to thank everyone who participated
in the traditional Green Crescent Cycling
Tour, and all of you who has stood by us
in our struggle. For the 10th outing of our
Cycling Tour in 2020, we will continue
pedaling with increasing enthusiasm.”
Stating that everyone joining the cycling
tour has a reason to live healthily,
Prof. Mücahit Öztürk thanked all the
participants for their time.
Thousands in attendance
Murat Suyabatmaz, President of the
Association of Cyclists, pointed out that
the participation at Green Crescent
Cycling Tour had been increasing
steadily: “We came together at the
Basketmakers’ Kiosk on a beautiful
Sunday for the ninth time to promote
Green Crescent and healthy lifestyles.
This year, we are again pedaling to fight
addiction, as we have done every year.”
Bicycles presented to participants
Burak Arslan, who hosted the event,
reminded the participants that Green
Crescent is the most powerful NGO in the
country, focusing its efforts on the fight
against addiction, one of the biggest
problems faced by Turkey. During the
Cycling Tour, 10 participants were
presented with bicycles after winning a
lottery.
