reen Crescent, held its 3rd Branches High Advisory
Board meeting, bringing together all its branches in Is-
tanbul on November 12-13. The main topic of the meet-
ing attended by Green Crescent President Mücahit Öztürk,
Green Crescent Executive, Supervisory and Science Board
members and head of branches was volunteering in the fight
against addiction, the importance of becoming organized as
branches and the projects and grant support programs to be
implemented by the branches.
“Our branches add strength to our struggle”
President Professor Mücahit Öztürk, who spoke at the event
and gave information on the headquarters action plan, men-
tioned Green Crescent’s efforts in the recent period. Öztürk
said, “We carried out numerous activities in the fight against
addictions through the country together with our Green Cres-
cent Headquarters and you, our esteemed Green Crescent
branches. We are continuing our efforts without slowing pace,
with increased speed and for branches excitement togeth-
er with our new branches that have added to our strength by
joining us recently.”
In themeeting during, which Green Crescent’s financial support
program and the Addiction Prevention Training Program of Tur-
key (TBM) were mentioned, it was stated that efforts to acti-
vate the Green Crescent branches in provinces will be effective
in the expansion process.
