SIGN "OURWORLD IS HUMANS" PROTOCOL

wo distinguished organizations, Green Crescent and Red
Crescent, whichwork for human dignity and respectabi-
lity and produce services for the benefit of the commu-
nity, signed a protocol under the "Our world is humans" theme.
As part of the cooperation protocol signed by Green Crescent
President Professor Mücahit Öztürk and Turkish Red Crescent
President Dr. Kerem Kınık, the objective of the two organizati-
ons is to launch joint projects for children and youth to be healt-
hier and more informed individuals. The plan, within the scope
of the protocol, is to act together and carry out joint efforts in
the fight against addiction. In this context, cooperation of both
organizations in sharing themeans and resources necessary to
carry out their activities and the implementation of numerous
activities and projects under the main theme of "Our world is
humans" are items included in the protocol.
Öztürk: “Green Crescent and Red Crescent are two sister
organizations”
Professor Mücahit Öztürk, who stated that the two organi-
zations working for the benefit of the public have joined their
powerswith the signed protocol for a healthier community said,
“Green Crescent and Red Crescent are two of our country’s ol-
dest nongovernmental organizations. With this protocol, we
have taken the decision to act together for a healthy commu-
nity and, with this objective, we are going to support one anot-
her in the areas we work. We are happy to have witnessed and
contributed to the sisterhood of the ‘crescents,’ the cooperati-
on of two sister organizations and such a historicmoment. May
our cooperation be beneficial.”
Kınık: “People are our aim, this is why we are hand in hand, side
by side”
President Dr. Kerem Kınık, stated that the aim of the two or-
ganizations is people and helping people, said: “We are heading
toward the same aim through different paths. And with our
protocol, we are hand in hand, side by side – we are joining our
powers. We believe we are going to do good things together.
May our protocol be beneficial.”
