Dear devoted Friends of the Great Green Crescent,
Life is filled with stories. Each of us has one, of..
Considering its employees as an asset, and operating a Human Resources policy that is based on this understanding, Green Crescent receives a Respect for People Award from KariyerNet.
In recognition of its Human Recourses policy that considers its employees – who are also “Volunteer Professionals” – as an asset, Green Crescent received a Respect for People Award from KariyerNet. Green Crescent is the first NGO ever to receive this award, which was handed over at a ceremony at the Volkswagen Arena, witnessed by high-level representatives from many companies.
Delivering a speech at the event, Savaş Yılmaz, General Manager of Green Crescent, said that Green Crescent has continued its rapid growth and momentum since 2013. “Today, Green Crescent has developed into a structure that we call ‘the Perfect Green Crescent’, and is in great demand among international organizations and qualified professionals as an organization whose projects are addressed under government programs; and that leads non-governmental organizations and accepts project applications from universities; that creates content, and manages scholarship and grant programs; that publishes academic papers; that provides training abroad and sets standards; and that is a sign of hope for others. All of these efforts are carried out in accordance with our three-year strategic plan. In this sense, the Green Crescent considers its employees as assets rather than human resources, and carries out its employment activities accordingly,” said Yılmaz.
