Mavi Kırlangıç receives “Those Who Bring Value to Children” award

After having first been published in 1969, Green Crescent’s Mavi Kırlangıç children’s magazine received “Those Who Bring Value to Children” award from the Explorer Children's Academy.

The Explorer Children’s Academy organized a children’s congress that was followed by the Those Who Bring Value to Children award ceremony on April 21, with the participation of people who are experts and academicians in their respective fields. During the ceremony, which was attended by experts, families and teachers, specialists gave presentations on child education, child abuse and psychology. The event recognized individuals and organizations involved in publishing, education and project management in which the focus is on children, with awards handed out within a “Those Who Bring Value to Children” concept.
Mavi Kırlangıç children’s magazine, which was published by Green Crescent between 1969 and 1980 and which was relaunched in 2017, was deemed worthy of a special award. Appealing to the 6–10 age group, and prepared by experts, the magazine contains accurate and reliable information that will help steer children away from harmful habits, while promoting life skills, and containing articles on sport and cultural activities, science and history. Mavi Kırlangıç is prepared in consultation with pedagogues under the expertise of Green Crescent.
