Green Crescent messages from our Olympic Champions

Mete Gazoz:  All of a country’s youth being both physically and spiritually “well” is of vital importance to that country’s development and for society’s development. We all know that addictions become more serious as we age. Therefore, it’s really important that any problems are caught and solved early on. The Green Crescent raising awareness and taking action towards this end is a huge step for the future of this country.

Ferhat Arıcan: Unfortunately, in our day we see gambling, substance and alcohol addiction among youth increasing. Behind my success and the sacrifices I make lies a deep desire to inspire coming generations. My greatest dream is to see in the future strong, independent, sportsmanlike youth. So, as Green Crescent says, “To many healthy generations…”

Hatice Kübra İlgün: The Green Crescent helps raise social awareness about different types of addiction, starting with children and youth. The Green Crescent aims to create a society where everyone has healthy habits, exercises, and adds color to social life by participating in culture and arts activities with others.

Yasemin Adar: The Green Crescent explains everything so well with its call to “Be addicted to life, to living, to dreams, to success, to your environment, to your flag; not substances!” Today, unfortunately, even technological tools are addictive. For this reason, we need to participate in sports to show children and teens how important time and life is.

İlke Özyüksel: I fully believe that sports is the biggest indicator of discipline, planning, and truth. Sports creates a life goal and purpose for a person. Someone who plays sports or exercises will stay away from bad habits.
