The Results of the 7th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest Have Been Announced

The results of the 7th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest, organized by Green Crescent to attract the attention of the public, particularly the young people to the perils of addiction, and to raise awareness through the universal language of cartoons, have been announced.

1130 cartoonists from 68 countries submitted 1901 cartoons to the contest.

The first, second and third prizes were awarded to Mohammadali Khalaji (Iran), Emil Idzikowski (Poland) and Silvano Mello (Brazil), respectively, while three achievement awards were granted to Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Poland), Musa Keklik (Türkiye) and Sunnerberg Constantin (Belgium).

Finally, the Mazhar Osman Special Prize was given to Ömer Çam (Türkiye).

Melek Demirel (Türkiye), Çağlar Yılmaz (Türkiye) and Zilan Tanış (Türkiye) deemed worthy of an award from the Under 16 Years Old Category.
